This summer, the driving range gets a playful twist! Teaming up with AFL legend Billy Brownless, we’re launching #WhackBilly & Win, a fun challenge that raises money for local sporting clubs and gives golfers a shot at winning $100,000.

Visit The Sands Torquay driving range and purchase a bucket of balls.

Take aim at the giant Billy Brownless target.

Get a mate to film you hitting Billy on the fly.

Post your video on social media, tag @thesandstorquay AND use the hashtag #WhackBilly.
From all registered and successful entries, 100 people will be randomly selected to receive a Golden Ticket to the $100,000 Hole-In-One Shootout, to be held on Sunday, April 19, 2025.

Participants must be 18 years or older, or have parental/guardian consent.

Only “on-the-fly” hits count; bounces are not eligible.

Golden Tickets for the Hole-In-One Shootout are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
