On Sunday, July 19, the spirit of golf's oldest major, The Open, arrives on the Surf Coast as The Sands Torquay presents The Sands Open Championship.

Each year the U.S. Open is known as golf’s ultimate test — demanding precision, patience and resilience from the world’s best players. On Sunday, June 21, that same championship atmosphere comes to the Surf Coast as players take on The Sands U.S. Open.

From May 14–17, the world’s best players will compete in the 108th PGA Championship, the second major of the golf season. On Monday, May 18, that championship atmosphere comes to the Surf Coast, where consistency and control will be rewarded as players battle it out at The Sands PGA Championship.

Each April the golfing world turns to Augusta - immaculate fairways, lightning-fast greens and a tradition unlike any other. On Monday, April 13, that tradition comes to the Surf Coast as we launch the 2026 Majors Series with The Sands Masters.

Join us on Monday 23rd March 2026 for our Women's Challenge Cup. Teams of four will compete over 18 holes, with the winning team holding the cup for one year.
