The Sands Torquay Remains Open and Operating as Usual

We would like to reassure our guests, members and the wider Sands community that The Sands Torquay remains fully open and operating as normal.

The company that owns the land at 2 Sands Boulevard, Torquay has recently been placed under the control of Receivers and Managers. This entity is the landholding owner of the property only. Importantly, this appointment does not include The Sands Torquay operating business.

The resort continues to be operated by DLH Food and Beverage Pty Ltd under an existing lease arrangement, with no changes to management or daily operations.

What This Means for You

There is no impact on your experience with us.

• All hotel stays continue as booked

• Weddings and events are proceeding as planned

• Dining venues are open and operating as usual

• The swim school continues as scheduled

• The 18-hole golf course remains open for play

Our valued secured creditor, Central Real Capital, has confirmed its support for the ongoing trading of The Sands Torquay, and the appointed Receivers are working closely with management to ensure continued business continuity.

If you are a current or future guest, member or event client, no action is required from you. All existing and future bookings remain unchanged.
