Many of our long-standing members will recognise Tybin Lawson. He worked at The Sands between 2006 and 2011, and we’re pleased to welcome him back to familiar territory - a place he knows well and genuinely loves.

Tybin is now the Managing Director of Geelong Golf Group and a PGA Professional with 14 years of coaching experience behind him. He’s spent that time helping golfers of all levels improve their game, always keeping things positive, simple and enjoyable.

​

He graduated with national high marks in Coaching & Game Development and is Trackman Certified, so he blends modern tech with straightforward coaching to make swing changes easier to understand and apply.

For those who enjoy the competitive side of golf, Tybin’s career-low round sits at 10-under at… you guessed it… The Sands Torquay.

Whether you’re picking up the game for the first time or chasing a personal best, Tybin is all about building confidence, improving decision-making and getting more enjoyment out of golf. We’re thrilled to have him back.
